Lakshmi Digital Surveyors ("we", "us", "our") is a land surveying and mapping services provider based at 8-4-370/360, Rajnagar, SRT Nagar, Borabanda, Hyderabad, Telangana 500018. We act as a Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act, 2023.

• Identity & contact data: full name, phone number, email address.
• Service data: property location, type of survey requested, project details you share with us.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited (collected via cookies/analytics).
• Communication data: messages you send through our quote form, email, or WhatsApp.

We practice data minimisation — we collect only what is necessary to respond to your request.

• To respond to quote requests and deliver surveying services.
• To communicate with you about your project (calls, email, WhatsApp).
• To improve our website using anonymised analytics (only if you consent).
• To comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations in India.

We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent, as required under Section 6 of the DPDP Act, 2023. Where applicable, we also rely on "legitimate uses" as defined in Section 7 (e.g., to fulfil a service you requested or comply with law).

We retain your personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected:

• Quote enquiries: up to 24 months after last contact.
• Active project records: for the duration of the engagement plus 3 years for tax/audit purposes.
• Analytics data: aggregated and retained for up to 14 months.

After the retention period, your data is securely deleted or anonymised.

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with:

• Hosting & database providers (Supabase / Lovable Cloud) to securely store enquiries.
• Google Analytics to understand site usage (only if you consent to analytics cookies).
• Government authorities when required by law (e.g., court orders, lawful requests).

Some of our service providers (e.g., Supabase, Google) may store or process data on servers located outside India. We ensure that such transfers are made only to jurisdictions not restricted by the Central Government under Section 16 of the DPDP Act, and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you have the right to:

• Access a summary of personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or completion of inaccurate data.
• Request erasure of your personal data.
• Withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing).
• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
• Lodge a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

Our services are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
